  Established in 1878 and designated as a State Historical Site, this church is one of the friendliest in Wise County. Perhaps the one thing it is noted for, besides its service to the community, is its excellent music program. Every month where there is a 5th Sunday, the church hosts a gospel singing worship service and covered dish luncheon that begins at 11 AM. It is an active, service-oriented church with Christ as its center. Everyone is welcome at Oak Grove. Come see its beautiful rural setting.
